Several private hospitals in the country have already started providing COVID-19 vaccine injections to the public after the government agreed for private hospitals to be used as vaccination centers in the second and third phases of the National COVID-19 Immunization Program.

The Private Hospital Vaccination Center (PPVHS) will start in the state of Johor with the involvement of several private hospitals that have been identified. The location of the initial introduction of second and third stage vaccination centers in private hospitals capable of providing appropriate facilities was opened as needed.

There are 5 stations in each vaccination center. The first station is for checking symptoms and body temperature, the second station is for registration, the third station is for counseling and consent for vaccination, the fourth station is for vaccination, and the fifth station is for observation where people will be cared for for 15 to 30 minutes after receiving injection.

It is hoped that the presence of the vaccine will be able to deal with this covid-19 pandemic more effectively and under control. The public is encouraged to register for the vaccine through the MySejahtera application to work together in tackling this pandemic.
